Serving the veterinary needs of Osseo Wisconsin since 1973
The Osseo vet Clinic was started by Dr. Tom Horel in 1973 and a few years later was combined with the Augusta Vet Clinic owned by Tom’s father Dr. J. T. Horel. In 1977 Dr. Jack Kolar joined the practice and by 1981 two more veterinarians had been added and the clinic moved to it’s current location.
Osseo Vet Clinic strives to meet the needs of it’s clientele.
Dr. Linda Giese started in 1988. At this time the practice was 85% dairy and 15% small animal and equine work. Over time the caseload shifted to 50% dairy/equine and 50% small animal work. The back of the clinic was remodeled in 2000 to allow for better work flow for the small animal portion of the practice. In 2001 Dr. Nathan Norby joined the staff and Dr. Meg Mueller came on board in 2010. Our newest veterinary addition is Dr. Angie Behling who joined the team in 2020.
Experience and Compassion makes the difference
Our clinic has blood chemistry, digital radiography, and therapeutic laser equipment on site. For specialized surgeries or an ultrasound/echocardiogram evaluation we schedule veterinary specialists to come to our clinic and perform these procedures. Ultrasound reproductive evaluations are available for cattle, horses, and small ruminants. Our clinic also features a stock for examining horses at the clinic and performing dental power floats.
Dairy Health Partner
Our farm/ranch clients consist of dairy, beef, equine, goat/sheep, alpaca/llama, deer, and elk herds. For our dairy clients, we provide scheduled herd health checks with computerized record keeping and reports available via Dairy Comp.
