Immunization and Wellness Care
We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Wellness programs include: comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccinations; spay and neutering; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.
Nutritional Counseling
Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active. We recommend and stock Science Diet and Purina prescription foods. We can special order others for you.
Behavioral Medicine
Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. We help determine appropriate treatments for separation anxiety, obsessive behavior, puppy behavior problems, and cat behavior issues.
Surgery
We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for health before surgery, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Surgical services and facilities include fully trained doctor and technical staff to ensure the safest procedures for your pet.
Dental Cleaning
Regular professional dental cleaning is important to maintain your pet's teeth and health. An ultrasonic scaler is used to clean each tooth thoroughly above and below the gum line. The teeth are then polished to create a smooth tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup.
Blood analysis/testing
Our state of the art equipment allows us an inside look at your pet's health by looking at blood chemistry and blood cell values. We use this to screen for normal organ function before anesthesia or if your pet is ill. Also, blood tests done on a regular basis lets us monitor your pet's health over its lifetime and enable us to detect any potential problems early on.
Radiology
Xrays can enhance or magnify to provide our veterinarians with better diagnostic abilities. It is an exceptional system for all internal diagnostics from late term pregnancies(puppy counts), abdominal and soft tissue problems, chest, orthopedic cases, and lung or bone tumors.
Ultrasound
The non-invasive, state -of -the -art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available.
Boarding
Pets are like our children - we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our highly qualified kennel attendants do the same when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care and a safe, clean environment for your special companion. We have seperate facilities for cats, small dogs and large dogs.
Emergency and Critical Care
In any emergency, seconds count. Our experienced staff is stocked and equipped to administer the ABC's fo basic life support - Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Cardiac compressions.
Hospice/Euthanasia Services
Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Our services include taking care of the remains as directed by the client.
